A message from Neil Strader, Activities Director at LSHS

I am proud to announce the hiring of Mark Johnson as the Head Girls Hockey Coach at Lakeville South High School.

All Lakeville South Girls Hockey players,  parents, and LHA members are welcome to attend a meet and greet with Coach Johnson at 6:00 PM on Monday night June 1, 2015 in the Lakeville South High School Lecture Hall.

Lakeville resident Mark Johnson returns to coaching hockey in Lakeville after serving as a Assistant Varsity Coach in our Girls program at Lakeville High School from 2001-2004 as a Varsity Assistant.  Mark coached Bantam Boys Hockey in Richfield from 2004-2009.  He served as Assistant Varsity coach at Richfield from 2009-2012, followed by serving as the Head Varsity coach at Richfield High School from 2012-2014.  Most recently, Mark served as the Head JV and Varsity Assistant at Hill Murray Boys Hockey program.

From 2009 to present, Mark has served as the General Manager for Minnesota Hockey.  Working with these high level athletes in addition to his winter team has served him well in creating valuable hockey contacts throughout the state.

Mark works for the City of Richfield, has three daughters and resides in Lakeville.  Mark was highly recommended by Head Hill Murray coach Bill Lechnar and was highly supported by our committee and kids involved.

I look forward to seeing many of you at the Coach Johnson meet and greet!  GO COUGARS!!!
