FREE Intro to Hockey Clinic for Girls, in grades K-4

GIRLS, join us October 8th at our FREE Intro to Hockey Clinic for Girls, in grades K-4 — where you will learn the basics on how to play hockey and have fun!

  • Oct. 8, 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
  • Ames Arena, Rink 1, Lakeville
  • (No registration required.)

Designed for girls new to hockey, Natalie Darwitz, LSHS varsity hockey coach, will lead the clinic, along with some Lakeville high school and middle school girl hockey players.

Please note this isn’t a learn-to-skate program, but a chance for girls to learn basic hockey skills and HAVE FUN, including:

  • Skating
  • Passing
  • Shooting
  • Games

What’s required:

  • Skates
  • Helmet
  • Shin Pads
  • Elbow Pads
  • Hockey Stick
  • Be eager to learn and have fun doing it

If you don’t have the equipment, ask your family, friends or neighbors. Minnesota is the State of Hockey so there’s a good chance they have some to loan. We’ll have people at the rink to help put on the equipment if needed.

If you need any equipment or have questions, contact Chris Kohlbeck at 952.486.0987 or girlsU12U14director@lakevillehockey.org.
