In case you missed it, Panther Alum is Montreal Canadien

St. Cloud State University junior and former Lakeville Panther goaltender Charlie Lindgren signed with the Montreal Canadiens last week and earned his first NHL win on April 7th.

Lindgren had 26 saves in his first NHL appearance - a 4-2 over the Carolina Hurricanes in Raleigh, NC.

The day after his first professional win, Lindgren a St. Cloud State junior was named to  24-man AHCA/CCM Men's Hockey Division 1 All-American Teams Friday at the NCAA Frozen Four. Before going pro, Lindgren started 40 of SCSU's 41 games, posting a 30-9-1 record, and was named NCHC Goaltender of the Year, with  a .925 save percentage and a 2.13 goals-against average.

Congratulations to Charlie, who now joins fellow LHA alums Brady Skjei (New York Rangers) and Jordan Schroeder (Minnesota Wild) in the NHL.
