The Panthers (22-5-1) will now take their five-game winning streak to the Xcel Energy Center where they will face off against the Roseau Rams (19-6-3) in the first round on Thursday night. Read more about the game from the Star & Tribune

Both Lakeville teams were deserving of State tourneament honors. The Panthers and Cougars were both ranked in the top 20 for much of the 2011-12 season. North won the South Suburban Conference title for the first time, while South finished third just two points behind.
